“How did this happen!?”
“I… I didn’t think…”
“That’s right, you didn’t think!”
“But sir, I don’t understand…why would he? He was just freed. A war hero!"
“When you get older you'll understand.”
“But sir, as soon as I released him he ran to the Dementor. I can’t believe someone would do that to themselves.”
“Child, there were greater terrors in his heart than a Dementor’s kiss. Whether it was for the greater good, he killed one of the few people who cared about him, and Riddle killed the other. I think the future was more than he was willing to face.”
