xtermYeah, yeah I know it’s the middle of the month I’m a little slow sometimes… but here is my year in review, which I might add is my first year in review.

1) Art, what I posted: I was surprised to see that I’m posted over 50 pieces… though the majority are drawbles. Note to self… I really need to tag my stuff better…
2) My favorite: This was my second fanart posting on Jan 11, 2006. It still makes me smile
3) My best: Weirdly my best is not my favourite or even most memorable, I’ve pick this one because it is my most complete piece. I believe it’s the only piece in full colour with a background that I did all year. This was forodogoddess for snupin_santa
4) Art most underappreciated, in my opinion: Now I know that there is the huge debate about commenting etc., but frankly it's it through the comments that I can only deteremine what people liked or disliked. Through the year I've had around a dozen pieces that got 1 to 0 comments, but to be honest they didn't deserve them anyway, thus I wasn't surprised. The one piece that I was disappointed by the lack of comments was the drawble I did forkatilara. She had asked for Cain and Abel from the Sandman and I did a homage to Jill Thompson "Li'l Endless Story Book".
5) Most fun art: When I got the bunny for these I just had to draw them. First was a drawble forelectromoon, second for a_j_nightingale and the third was for kaleidoskope which I almost didn’t do because I didn’t think I could, but I decided to push myself which I’m happy about.
6) Sexiest art: Well since I don’t have any pr0n I don’t really know what would qualify here… so I will go with a drawble I did forhill_
7) Art with single sexiest moment: This was a drawble request fromseverity_softly . I don’t know if it’s counts as being sexiest moment but I think there is a nice anticipation in it.
8) "Holy Crap, that's wrong, even for you" drawing: As anyone who watches my journal that do I not do pr0n. This is probably the edgiest drawing I’ve done and to tell you the truth, non-con (or in the case of this pic, implied non-con) one of my big squick. This was a drawble forhill_ and it almost made my favourite posting…

12am_nosh because of an ignorant flaming of an artist, I said sure. This is the second one I did for the challenge and it started to change my perspective on the ship… (shakes fist at Hill ;) )

11) Biggest disappointment: Even after the help I got from got fromtwilightsorcery and fools_trifle when I posted in artbeta I never really liked this piece and I only posted it because I thought it would be rude not to after the help. Of course the irony is that I’m reposting my biggest disappointment, LOL.
12) Biggest surprise: From what I understand this is where though I liked the piece I didn’t expect to get comments but people ended up really liking it… if that is the criteria then I have two entries here, a drawble foreffulgency and birthday art for arionrhod originally posted in sorceress_spell :

Overall critique: At this point I would like to thank everyone who has commented on my stuff, it’s amazing how even just an emoticon can make my day! I’ve had real ups and downs this year, but I’ve also gotten over some real insecurities that have plagued me my whole life. With the help of people on my flist I’ve stopped putting myself down and started to feel good about what I’m doing, for this I’m more grateful than I could ever say but I will say THANK YOU!!
